Keep Faith

During recent events I have heard from a few of you about how much it means to be able to help some that is in need.
I think that is a great feeling and I encourage you to keep going. Bad news spreads like a wildfire and people often overlook the good in trying to get a better view of the flames.
Do not buy into this way of thinking. As you all know when there is a problem going on with one of our members we do our best to come to their aid and to be supportive. There will be more than enough people trying to climb over each other in order to see the flames but the best of us focus on moving the injured out of harms way. That is the same with our association. We focus on the person and first of all helping them instead of stepping on them to get a better look at the flames. When we do this we protect each other and watch out for each other the way that we were intended to do so.
Be well and God bless you all. S. Dalton

Assisting our members

Forgive us for not being up yesterday please.
With all of the things that are happening in the world it is good to know that there are truly good people out there that are searching to do the right thing.
During times when things seem to be off track keep these thoughts in mind- We see by the hours but God sees by the lifetime!
To the members that have written to me explaining some of the things that happen to be taking place in your life I say keep your head up and know that God will never let you down (even in times when you cannot see exactly what he may have in store for you).
It is vital that you find a spiritually sound person to seek advice from and not someone that will discourage you from turning to God when you need him the most.
To that end I am grateful to be able to serve you.
Ladies, one of our members (Ms. J) has just returned from the hospital and I ask that you all please say a prayer for her. She is a very kind hearted woman and is someone that I know would send a prayer out for another in need. Please email me your responses so that I may pass them on to her.
Thank You, S. Dalton

Today We Grow!

Ever notice how people come into your life and then seem to drift away without much explanation? I really feel as though God sometimes seperates us from those that (no matter how well meaning they may be) would hinder us from carrying out the mission that he has set for us.
We are all connected for a reason. God has opened my heart to be connected to those that are his faithful and true followers.
Just this morning God's word was served to me so warm and fulfilling that my spirit felt as though it had been replenished right on time. As some of you might know with all that we do online we can at times be stubborn in stepping back from the quick, disconnected process.
Having become relaxed with online donating and learning from experience not to carry cash around much, a beautiful young woman gave me an offering so that I could give in person. To that young lady I would like to say thank you. This kind of personal family type love is what has me drawn to the Tabernacle Of Christ in downtown Lawrenceville. God is everywhere but when I was going through my most difficult time this smaller church gave me aid when some of those larger churches (filled to the brim with earthly goods) failed to see what God had sent. In everything that we do we must never forget that God loved us so much that he gave his only son to forgive our sins. As Christians we must take the time to slow down and see what God has sent to us. Yes with common sense but also with compassion. My mission is a blessed one and those that watch through Christ's eyes will be blessed two times over for God sees our hearts and our deeds and both are well noted.
